to dedicate this red velvet cake to my son who just had his tonsils taken out.

Diego & Dora Cupcakes

My son loves Diego and Dora so for his "family & friends" birthday party

I made his favorite chocolate cupcakes as well as vanilla with sprinkles cupcakes. Each cupcake is topped with a plastic figurine. I was going to create the faces of each character on the cupcakes, but I thought it would mean more to the children if they had the character to go home with instead. I was right!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Cupcakes

These cupcakes were created for the Alpha Kappa Alpha organization. Chocolate and Vanilla cupcakes are topped with buttercream and dusted with pink shimmer. They are then topped with chocolate greek letters and a fondant ivy for the final touch.

Under The Sea Cookies

These underwater sea cookies were inspired by my son's love of oceanlife. I really enjoyed making these colorful creatures - even though it was

at 2am! :-)

3 Year Old School Beach Party

My son loves the beach, so for his school party, I made his theme the beach. Each child in his class received a customized pail full of goodies - including a starfish, shell and fish sugar cookie, a toy for the water, sunglasses, a fruit snack and other fun items! They were a big hit!

My son turns 3!

My first born has just turned the big 3 today so to celebrate his stardom, I made him his favorite - chocolate cupcakes! They are topped with cream cheese icing, sprayed with color mist, sprinkled with color sugar and topped with a sugar cookie that is piped with icing and matching sugar.

Happy Birthday Alvin! Mommy loves you!

Wilton Class First Cake

This cake was my final cake in my first Wilton cake class- Fondant and Gumpaste. The cake is covered in fondant and the flowers, leaves and

added decorations are gumpaste and fondant.
